Crushing Mice: Leonora, #32
This weekend, at “Don Carlo” by Washington Nationa Opera, Leonora found it very hard to focus when both of her voice crushes were singing in the same scene.
Leonora is going to the concert with three principal singers from this season’s production of “Die Walküre” at the Lyric Opera of Chicago tonight. Her main voice crush will be there. Somebody is very, very excited.
Rodents usually hibernate. Leonora, on the other hand, aestivates, because there is no point in not hibernating in summer, during the opera off-season.
Let the season of audience kvetching begin!
