Wow. Looks like I didn’t ruin any works of art for a year! Well, today I am at it again, and moreover, with the present for the same person who was the recipient of the last ruined artwork.
Next in my row of ruined artworks is something especially dear to my heart: an illustration to Wagner’s Ring Cycle by Arthur Rackham.

What happens when you decide to micefy David’s “Napoleon Crossing the Alps” (Belvedere version — there is a total of five) for a friend who thinks she is the reincarnation of Napoleon and discover that there is no way on earth you can draw a realistic looking horse even if your life depended on it?
Yet another Picasso is ruined with mice — to celebrate the birthday of a friend. “The Portrait of Gertrude Stein” is from Picasso’s “Rose Period” (1904-1906), which probably refers to the color of wilted roses, because I mosly used brown and black in this micefication.
