Everything is better with mice: #28

With a delay, but better late than you know, because everything is better with mice, here is Millais’s “Ophelia” (1852), painted as a present for a dear friend. I know it is not the most perfect copy, but there was no way for a person with the drawing abilities of a five-year old to render all those leaves and twigs and branches painted by Millais with photographic precision. It was a lot of fun to paint anyway.

Mixed Media: pencil, acrylics, watercolors on paper.
